Lightbulb better /report system to beat the spambots (buying accounts)
Somehow i enjoy reporting reporting bots that WTB accounts... but the last few weeks they spawn into the bigger cities (kamadan, kc, la), then spam 2 messages (it always seem to be 2 messages) with "WTB accounts for xxx K" and then disappear. They do this so fast that i am not able to report them because i only can report ppl who are in the same district as me (i am always late even when i do it within 4-5 seconds).

Why isnt possible to report "players" that have been in your district less than a minute ago?? IMO that seems to be the only way to deal with these kind of bots (and other jerks)...

Global report system IMO, but only if they stop listening to the reports from pricks who turn the swear filter off and then report people who swear. Happened to me once, somehow, and I wasn't even insulting anyone, just using everyday street language that can be heard everywhere from elementary schools to offices, to kindergarten classrooms.

IMO you sound like a spambot yourself... i probably missed that mentioned note, but i am only trying to offer a possible solution. IMO players who put comments like this are ignorant, dont add anthing and just somehow kill this game (usa?)...

i didnt say you are selling an account but you sound like you are defending "players" who are selling them (afaik it IS still against the EULA)... IMO ignoring a problem is never a solution

If you just wait a few more minutes they always come back, usually in the lower districts like 1,2, or 3. Then you can report'em

i haven't tried to see if this goes from district to district but it's an option as well instead of selecting
but yes we need a better report system
i only saw one twat who bought accounts and started cussing at the people who told him he'll get banned, sad business

they should make it possible to report players that are in other districts with /report playername
that way the zoning bots can be handled a bit more
but anet support is pure shit that doesn't do anything to help so meh

/signed. I think anet think theyve cured the bot problem with the IP thing and its not high priority with the few spammers that are left...

I do like the global report thing though.

If Anet's not gonna enforce their own rules, I'll probably be the last one that you see complaining. How does account selling hurt your game experience in all honesty?

Yeah, their breaking the rules, yeah, they should be banned, but I honestly couldn't care less in the long run.
